カーネル・サンダースの略歴
ハーランド・デーヴィッド・サンダース（Harland David Sanders、1890年9月9日 – 1980年12月16日）は、アメリカ合衆国の実業家で、ケンタッキーフライドチキン（KFC）の創業者。カーネル・サンダース（Colonel Sanders）として知られている。
「カーネル」（Colonel）は名前でも、軍の階級（大佐）でもなく、ケンタッキー州に貢献した人に与えられる「ケンタッキー・カーネル」という名誉称号（名誉大佐）である。日本では「カーネルおじさん」「ケンタッキーおじさん」の愛称が定着している。
